With spring on the horizon how can you not enjoy the bright hues of the
Nanette Lepore boutique. From the moment that I stepped in I was already mentally adding up all the dresses, shoes and bags that I needed asap for my spring/summer wardrobe. It didn't help that nyc had one of its best weather nights (nearly 70s) and its March! Seemed like everyone was wearing their finest non-winter goods for this event. Recently Nanette was featured on
Project Runway All Stars, there was a live viewing in the store in her celebration. Even some of the designers were there like Austin Scarlett, Mondo Guerra and Kenley Collins. Kenley looked classic as usual, in a beautiful red lace dress with making lipstick. Mondo was wearing something that could only be found in your dreams or outer space, lol. And Austin...I couldn't really get past the new mustache he's been flaunting, still not used to it. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves, drinking prosecco, eating popcorn and of course the magnum ice-cream bars (my personal favorite). Give me food over drinks any day! The music was great lots of 90s hits that reminded me of my childhood. I found myself dancing most of the night and of course people watching. So many guests had such great style, I kept getting distracted. Can't think of a better way to enjoy our warmest Manhattan night.
