DL1961 Premium Denim NYFW Runway Show Debut ~ Spring/ Summer 2013

"They were jeans, but they were beautiful" said my friend after the show. I couldn't agree more! DL 1961 has mastered the art of a good fit, exquisite structure, fine materials and fun colors and prints. Like I usually say in everything you wear its all in the details that showcase your style. The show started with dancers, which was the element of surprise. They truly showed use how flexible and non constricting the jeans really were. For Spring/Summer 2013, DL1961 partnered with Nylon’s Style Editor-at-Large, Dani Stahl, to style the show, as well as Julia Samersova Adlerfrom E!’s “Scouted” to cast.  Guests included: British Singer/SongWriter Neon Hitch, Model Jessica Hart, Actresses Kristin Chenoweth and Jana Kramer, Actor Chaske Spencer and reality TV personalitiesSimon van Kempen and Alex McCord. After the runway was of course the after party...with music from DJ Mia Moretti and Electric Violinist Caitlin Moe, drinks, cotton candy and a Gorilla Cheese food truck! With the fancy festivities the perfect accompaniment was the night sky line on the water front at Pier 57.
