Last week I went to hang out with Captain Morgan and celebrity chef Hugh Acheson to support WhyHunger. An amazing charity encouraging movement to end hunger and poverty by connecting people to nutritious, affordable food and by supporting grassroots solutions that inspire self-reliance and community empowerment. Captain Morgan & chef Hugh Acheson have teamed up to bring awareness to the WhyHunger cause and to inspire holiday dishes and cocktails. Hugh is encouraging consumers 21+ to share their recipes and entertaining tips utilizing the hashtag #CaptainsTable. Every time the hashtag is used throughout the holiday season, the brand will donate $1 to the charity! I had a brief chat with Hugh asking him what his favorite dish for Thanksgiving, no surprise, like most its stuffing. He likes to make his with lots of leeks and sage and perfectly toasted bread.
