Like most, I crave a glowing complexion, shiny healthy hair, nail color that lasts and lips that are moisturized yet enticing. Here are some of my favs! I love trying new products and researching to find whats the best for my skin and hair. I'm constantly asked by friends and family for recommendations so I'm finally putting my Polyvore account to use! Feel free to let me know some of your favs in the comment box :)
Face
Skyn Iceland Facial cleanser wipes: These are perfect if you're feeling lazy, they really clean your face along with taking your makeup off.
Clarisonic Mia First: This was one of my black Friday/ cyber Monday purchases. I'm obsessed! My pores have shrunk and my complexion is more even. Also when I registered my product they sent me a full size complimentary Clarisonic cleanser for free!
Lush Mask of Magnaminty: This is something I recently purchased during my holiday break. Tingles and exfoliates making your skin smooth, deep cleanses pores, and brightens skin (perfect for my hyper pigmentation).
Kiehl's Midnight Recovery: You wake up looking better than you did the night before. Skin is supple and looking more youthful.
For Make-up
Laura Mercier Flawless Skin: I use this moisturizer everyday. Last year in Vegas I got my makeup done with this as the base and I was hooked. Expensive but worth it; you don't need much.
Laura Mercier Foundation Primer - Radiance Bronze: Bought with the above, I mix the two to to make the desired effect I like….
Guerlain Mascara: Separates, lengthens, define and don't mock me but the mascara has a fresh scent. Try it and you'll see!
Body
Kiehl's Creme de Corps Soy Milk & Honey Whipped Body Butter: Perfect for the winter and crazy dry skin. Skin gets any instant jolt.
Lush Buffy Body Bar: Exfoliates and moisturizes, feels like you've already put lotion on when you get out of the shower.
Neutrogena Hand Cream: My hands get scary dry, especially in the winter. I'm always washing or sanitizing my hands which really dries them out. This makes my hands feel soft instantly….bye ashy!
Shu Uemura Art Of Hair Moisture Velvet Treatment: I received this in a gift bag and fell in love with my first use. I've transitioned to natural hair over the past 1yr and a half this mask has been the most moisturizing and the absolute best treatment I've ever used. Its expensive but once you try it you'll never want to switch back.
Rusk Str8: Even though may hair is natural I do prefer a straight style compared to my 'Sister, Sister' hair texture. I use this to help lock my hair into my desired straight style till my next wash.
Lips
Covergirl Lipslicks Smoochies Lip Balm: Moisturizing like a chapstick but gives a great color to the lips at the same time.
Nails
Essie Protein Base Coat: Really nourishes your nails and looks good by itself.
Nails Inc Gel Effect Polish: I don't like acrylic or gel polish significant upkeep (must be maintained in a salon). This gives the the shiny strong nail lacquer you want while easily removed with nail polish remover.
