Ray-Ban's District 1937 event was a night to remember! Celebrating the launch of their new materials (denim, velvet, leather, titanium & steel) with music performances by MS MR and the iconic Blondie. SIR Stage 37 was setup with DIY stations to either interact with art projects or create your own glasses. I did a few of the DIY projects before I made my way upstairs to the Ray-Ban Remix lounge. That's where I designed my custom made Ray-Bans, sipped cocktails with friends and bumped into some celebrities until it was performance time. I was beyond excited to see Blondie! Her and the band were awesome! It was amazing to hear her songs and realize how many are still used to this day in movies. They definitely transport you to a different place in your mind remembering where you were when you first heard it or what you were watching.
