Fashion Week: IDAN COHEN Autumn/Winter 2015 Collection at Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week

My Valentine's Day at the tents continued with its romantic theme with the AW15 collection by Idan Cohen. This was my first time attending one of his shows and I was wowed. The intricate beading, complex designs and delicate fabrics floated down the runway; it was a very glam collection! As a whole it felt vivacious and Jennifer Lopez-esque. I was lucky enough to score a front row seat, courtesy of People's Revolution. They treat me so well :)

Designer Idan Cohen, based in Tel Aviv, Israel, is known in his home country for his bridal atelier and elegant, sensual eveningwear. On February 14th, the designer realized two of his dreams - marrying his partner Elad Borenstein at the first ever Fashion Week wedding, followed by his first ever fashion show in New York City. The wedding featured singing by “Nashville” duo Lennon & Maisy, who also sat front row at the show. 

Cohen’s inspiration for the collection was femininity, and the woman's body. The show featured hair by Marc Mena for Warren Tricomi, makeup by Regan Rabanal for MAC Cosmetics, styling by Masha Orlov, nails by Pattie Yankee and music by The Misshapes. Images by Randy Brooke
