Last night's 2015 Oscars was full of glitz and glam as the stars showcased their designer fashion down the red carpet. This year's host Neil Patrick Harris did an excellent job of showing how many choices men have through his many costumes changes. Taking a mini break from my New York Fashion Week posts to do a quick recap of some of the best and not so great looks from last night.

Margot Robbie in Saint Laurent
She's such a gorgeous girl, and everything about this look is perfection. The dress is simple but elegant. The statement necklace is bold and unique and I like that she has the bold red lip. Definitely one of the best dressed of the night.
Rosamund Pike in Givenchy
She looks amazing! The fit of the dress is perfection, of all of the red dresses on the carpet this was truly on for the best of the night. Who knew red was going to be so popular. The look makes up from her not so great choices at the previous award shows and I still can't believe she recently had a baby.
Lupita Nyong'o in custom Calvin Klein
This dress grew on me, I feel like it was obvious that its a work of art but it wasn't until she walked on staged and percentage an award that I could really appreciate the beauty of the dress and how amazing it was on her.
Reese Witherspoon in Tom Ford
Reese looks classic and timeless in this Tom Ford gown. Not exactly what I expected her to wear, but a great choice for her. No complaints here...
Emma Stone in Elie Saab
I'm not crazy about the choice of color, but she does look beautiful. She is always chooses a style that stands out among her peers. While everyone else was in a sea of red, black, white or blue she was a bright pop of neon.
Jennifer Lopez in Elie Saab
I love this color on her! It goes great with her skin tone & hair. I just wish it wasn't the same plunging neckline that she always wears. You look amaze but it doesn't hurt to switch it up a bit...
Julianne Moore in custom Chanel
A perfect look for her to receive her new oscar in! Julianne is always a vision on the red carpet and this year was not an exception to that.
Naomi Watts in Armani Prive
This dress grew on me, I like that its different from what we usually see on the red carpet. It looks great on her and you can she that she feels good in it and thats what's most important.
The Meh
Marion Cotillard in Dior Couture
I like this, but I don't love it. I feel like she could have done a little bit more since this is the Oscars. That aside from that she does looks gorge.
Kerry Washington in Miu Miu
Boring, but pretty....but still boring. Sorry girl you know you could have given us more.
Scarlett Johansson in Versace
This is a great color for her! The dress is beautiful and tailored to perfection but the jury is still out on that neck piece. Although I am happy that she took a risk and gave us something to talk about.
Cate Blanchette in John Galliano
Maybe its because we expect so much from her, but this look isn't doing anything for me at all.
Sienna Miller in Oscar de la Renta
I actually like this dress, I think on tv it was easier to see the detail of the dress. Maybe in a different color or saving it for a different red carpet may have been a better choice.
Couple Time
Behati Prinsloo in Armani Prive & Adam Lavine
This was one of my favorite couple looks of the night! The both are dressed impeccably for the festivities.
Sophie Hunter & Benedict Cumberbatch
Stunning couple overall. She picked a perfect dresses to accentuate her pregnancy and looks great in the white tux jacket. Not everyone can pull that off so easily.
David Burtka & Neil Patrick Harris
I prefer Neil's over his husband's but they both look red carpet ready.
Channing Tatum in Dolce & Gabbana & Jenna Dewan-Tatum in Zuhair Murad
These cuties! Both resembles compliment each other very well.
Chrissy Teigen in Zuhair Murad & John Legend
Love these two, they always look like they're having such a great time wherever they are!
Justin Theroux & Jennifer Aniston in Versace
The look great together, but am I the only one that wishes she would do her hair?
The Men
Common in Prada
He looks exquisite! Looks polished and cool at the same time.
Eddie Redmayne in Alexander McQueen
The tailoring was done right and the blue hue was a good choice.
Jared Leto
Always a little unconventional, but he still pulls it off.
Chris Pine in Giorgio Armani
Chris Pine is my #MCM! He's so handsome, I can't take it.
The Not So Good
Gwyneth Paltrow in Ralph and Russo
Great choice on color, not crazy about the sleeve looks a little too 80s or something.
Lady Gaga in custom Alaia
The gloves are terrible! The dress however was quite beautiful on screen, looks like there's too much fabric. The dress is wearing her.
Solange Knowles in Christian Siriano
I usually love her style, but I can't agree with this choice. The material is way too shiny and there's way too much of it floating around. Her after party dress, now that was a showstopper!
Nicole Kidman in Louis Vitton
Looks cheap and she looks cheap in it :-( and what's the deal with the red belt? It only makes it worse...
Felicity Jones in Alexander McQueen
The top half looked I'm out with, bottom not so much. Not crazy about the hair either while we're at it.
Will.I.Am
One part train conductor, part referee and one part waiting for a flood with those rolled up pants. Too be honest its the rolled pants that upset me the most.
